Kate Madigan is a freelance illustrator currently based in Oxford but accepting commissions from all over the UK and beyond. She specialises in vector art with a retro, mid-20th century flavour, working on projects large and small for both corporate and private clients.

Kate excels at meeting deadlines and emptying biscuit tins. When she’s not busy drawing things she’s normally swimming in the lakes and rivers of Oxfordshire or running round town with her local running club. She loves winter weather, Angel Delight, University Challenge and her stripy grey cat.

Kate also teaches art and design and has worked at various institutions including Central St Martins and The Story Museum. She has a limited number of places available for private pupils; please get in touch if you’d like to know more.

For illustration: YUBL, the National Literacy Trust, Blackwell’s University Bookshop, the University of Oxford, H2Open Magazine, Oxford International College, Hazlitz Cards, Runcible Travel. For teaching: Central St Martin's, The Story Museum, Greene's Tutorial College.
